Passing Time With A Good Book
Fam, listen!!! When I tell you I take this healthy journey seriously, I mean it!!! I take it SERIOUSLY!!!
Last week, we talked about having patience and passing time with other healthy habits. Well, I decided to pick up a book . . . AGAIN . . . that has helped me on my healthy journey for quite some time. Back to Eden.
I have read this book so many times for good recipes, helping me out with a healthy lifestyle, and doing things as God intended. I know many may not agree with this being God’s plan, but let’s be realistic, believer or not, there is a reason why those who have a diet not consistent with eating meat seem to live healthier and more wholesome lifestyles. So much so that even Hippocrates, a Greek physician, once said “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
What we eat makes a difference in our lives. There is healing power in nutrition.
So let me ask you,
· Do you have dry, itchy skin?
· Do you suffer from chronic headaches?
· Are you struggling with weight loss?
· Do you lack energy?
· Does your child or you have a cough that you can’t get rid of?
· Did your doctor tell you that you have high blood pressure?
· Does your body hurt to the touch?
· At any point in your life, have you had to visit a doctor and get prescription medication?
If you answered yes to any of these, and while I am not a betting woman, I am sure you did to at least one, then you should probably pick up the book Back to Eden.
It doesn’t matter how many times I read this book, the material is plentiful and the amount of help it has given me is endless.
