And It Was Good . . .
When God created the land, the vegetations, the fruits, all plants, the words that followed were “it was good”. Heaven’s Holistic Healing promotes a healthy lifestyle by healing from the inside and out with all products created by God.
Hi, my name is Channel, and this is my story. I am the CEO and owner of Heaven’s Holistic Healing, a natural health store and consulting business. This blog will take you through my journey of health issues, medical failures, and how I ended up here . . . starting a business that focuses on healing the whole body with all-natural products, as God originally intended.
From my childhood, I suffered from severe allergies, asthma, acne, sickle cell, and headaches amongst others. My parents did what any couple would do for their child, take me to the doctor. Where I was pumped with medicine to treat the symptoms. While the symptoms no longer bothered me, the underlying problems were still lingering and, of course, the medications produced other unwanted symptoms. It was a never-ending cycle. As I grew into adulthood, I was quickly bothered with the amount of money I was spending on medication, only to bandage the symptoms, but not treating the cause. Now, don’t get me wrong, sometimes medications are necessary, and we need our doctors, but how can we also find healing in what God put on this Earth? I met my husband who encouraged me to eat various fruits to help build my immune system, and ease joint pain from sickle cell. I noticed a huge difference over time, just by changing my diet. After improving my health, I decided to focus on my whole body. My adult acne was the worst. Then one day, my husband mixed a lemon juice-based face mask for me and encouraged me to use it weekly. I noticed a quick difference in my skin tone as well as the smoothness. If the foods we eat can help us internally and externally, then why aren’t we using these natural products in our daily routines?
I began to do research and start creating my own concoctions for pain relief, skincare and so much more.
Fast forward, I am now working to complete my doctorate in naturopathic medicine, certified as a natural health consultant, and leading a business that provides guidance to improve health and wellness for all, using natural products, just as God intended.
You may or may not be a Christian, but if you suffer from medical issues that doctors can only treat the systems and not the cause, then maybe this blog is for you. If you are a Christian looking to live a healthy lifestyle as God intended, this blog may be for you.
